What's new and what's next

Kredulous grows on the election calendar. Here is what has shipped, and what comes online as states certify their 2026 races.

What's next

  • More states, on the primary calendar

Many 2026 primaries are decided in August and September. As each state certifies a two-candidate general election and comparable coverage of both nominees exists, its races go through our sourcing and verification pipeline and come online. States we are watching include Arizona, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Florida, Colorado, and Oklahoma.

  • Deeper decks for every race

More issue areas per race, each pair held to the same standard: sourced, neutral, symmetric, and blind.

  • More languages

English, Spanish, and Chinese are live today. More ballot languages are on the list as coverage grows.

  • Races with more than two candidates

We are exploring scoring for multi-candidate contests, which would open coverage in states with top-two and jungle primaries.
